This privacy statement describes how Quicken Mobile collects and uses the information you provide.

Location ServiceLocation Services »

We access location based information from your mobile device only when you add a manual transaction and to assist you in finding and entering a payee based on your current location.   We store longitude and latitude coordinates with this manual transaction and will display the payee’s location on a map.  We do not use this information to specifically locate you for any reason other than to assist in adding the transaction payee. If you have allowed us to utilize your location information in the past and wish to revoke the permissions to do so please turn off location services at the device level.

We collect the following personal information:

  • Your username, password and zip code to allow access to our products and services.
  • Your username and password to your financial institution account so we can download the information to your Quicken account.

We use this information to:

  • Provide you with the Quicken service and to update your account transactions.
  • Send you alerts related to your use of the service as you have chosen in your Alert and Notification settings in Quicken.

If your Registration Information changes during your use of the Quicken mobile application you may contact support through the “Help and Legal” page in the Quicken “Settings”. We will retain your information, including location based data, for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

If you choose to receive alerts and notifications related to our services and would no longer like to receive them you may turn push notifications off at the device level and email and SMS services from the Quicken desktop application.

We use other third parties such as a mapping service to provide suggested payee names and category information.
